Meet Patrice Duarte
I’m Patrice Duarte, an End-of-Life Doulagiver. For years, I’ve cared for people with terminal illnesses through the end of life, and those experiences led me to become a doulagiver. I offer non-medical support, education and help finding resources for people and their families as they navigate serious illness and end of life. My goal is really simple—to help make that journey feel less overwhelming and more peaceful.
SuPing, Mom, and Neil are waiting for me on the other side.
We shared so much joy, even through their terminal illnesses, and I was honored to be by their sides as they transitioned.

My Mission
My mission is to be a steady, caring presence for people and their loved ones as they navigate serious illness and end of life.
I will meet people where they are, listen without judgment, and honor their wishes, beliefs, and the people they call family. Through non-medical support, education, and help finding resources, I hope to make this journey feel less overwhelming and more peaceful—with room for connection, comfort, and moments of joy.
I will care for the caregiver, keep learning, and recognize when another professional’s help is needed. Above all, I want each person to feel heard, valued, and supported in living as fully as possible, through the end of life.
